GeckoFlag Version 1.9.0 is now available. With this update, you can now use AI to create projects, issues, comments and wiki pages.

What's New in 1.9.0

  • Create with AI — AI (Claude by Anthropic) proposes what to enter, based on text such as meeting notes, memos and requests, or on screenshots of chats and the like.
    • Projects — Proposes the project name, description, start date and target end date. When adding a project, it also proposes a project key that is not in use yet.
    • Issues — Proposes the title, description, issue type, status, priority, assignee, start date and due date.
    • Comments — Writes the comment based on the issue and its recent comments and, when asked, also proposes changes to the assignee, status, due date and so on.
    • Wiki — Creates a new wiki page from source text, or adds to and reorganizes an existing page.
    • You review the AI's proposals and choose which items to apply to the form. Saving is still done by people, as usual.

To use it, you need to register an Anthropic API key that you issue yourself. API usage fees are not included in the GeckoFlag price and are billed to the Anthropic account that issued the key. By default no one can use the feature; administrators allow it per user.
